He recalled saying, “I have never seen anything like this in my life. What I witnessed today I will share with my children and grandchildren. We joined the protest, everything remained peaceful, we arrived at the governor’s residence and the governor addressed us.”

He added, “People started yelling, ‘They’re coming with machetes!’ Everyone began to run, and I ran too. But the most astonishing moment was that VeryDarkMan did not flee. He turned and charged at the aggressors. When the crowd saw VeryDarkMan and Kokopee moving forward, they reversed course and the attackers fled.”
