Marc Cucurella Vows Retirement and Tattoo if Spain Wins 2026 World Cup Final
Marc Cucurella, the newly signed Real Madrid defender, has made a striking pledge ahead of the 2026 World Cup final against Argentina.
He said that if Spain wins the trophy, he will announce his retirement from the national team the next day and will have a small tattoo of Spain’s head coach, Luis de la Fuente, inked on his bicep.
Cucurella added that with a European Championship and a World Cup already under his belt, he feels there is nothing more to achieve for Spain internationally.
Although he once joked that he would rather stay bald than sport a Barcelona badge tattoo, the defender expressed confidence in his team’s form after overcoming Portugal, France and Belgium to reach the final.
