Toyin Abraham Warns TikTok Users to Stop Using Her Photos in RIP Posts
Popular Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has condemned a rising TikTok trend where users attach “RIP” captions to her pictures.
She called on those responsible to cease the practice, warning that she will not ignore anyone caught spreading such content.
Abraham noted that she has seen multiple videos on the platform featuring various images of her accompanied by death‑related text, and despite widespread visibility, the trend persists.
Speaking about her loved ones, she prayed for protection against untimely death for herself, her husband Kolawole Ajeyemi, their children, relatives, fans and even her online critics.
The actress emphasized that nobody associated with her will die before their allotted time, urging the creators of the videos to delete them immediately and refrain from repeating the act.
She made it clear that she will not treat the matter lightly if she discovers the individuals behind the posts.
Abraham described the use of her photos alongside “RIP” messages as inappropriate and called for an immediate stop.
In her own words: “You’re on TikTok doing videos and posting my pictures, and keep putting RIP. If I catch you, cause the whole world is seeing now, and they aren’t saying anything. My husband, children, fans, family, and I wouldn’t die an untimely death. Whoever you are, you wouldn’t die; but go delete that thing and stop. If I catch you, I wouldn’t listen to begs o. It’s not a good thing, you keep using 100 of my pictures.”
