Tambuwal Declares Only Brave Politicians Can Join ADC
Former Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, has stated that only politicians who are truly brave and committed to serving the public — rather than pursuing personal interests — should consider joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Speaking on the matter, Tambuwal said, “Anyone who believes that what he is doing is for the people and for the sake of God, not for personal gain, should have the courage to leave any political party and join the ADC.”
He commended Kalenjeni for stepping down from his position and joining the ADC without attaching any conditions, describing the move as a sacrifice and a clear sign of dedication to the party’s principles.
Tambuwal also accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of attempting to intimidate politicians who are planning to defect to the ADC, while simultaneously trying to sow division within the opposition ranks.
According to him, the ruling party now views the ADC as its most significant political challenge.
While criticising the administration of President Bola Tinubu over the nation’s worsening security situation, Tambuwal noted that many Nigerians have grown disillusioned with the APC due to persistent insecurity across the country.
