A Nigerian woman has sparked online discussion after encouraging men to acknowledge their personal value and refrain from overstepping in romantic partnerships.

Lady Calls for Men to Recognize Their Self-Worth
In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), she emphasized that wickedness is not tied to gender and urged men to stop behaving like father figures toward the women they date.
She pointed out that if women declare they are not their mothers, men should likewise avoid assuming parental responsibilities within the relationship.
“Men, I wish you knew your worth. Wickedness has no gender. If these ladies say they are not your mother, why would you act like their father? Who asked you to do that? Why are you exaggerating your role?” she remarked.
Identifying Red Flags and Guarding Against Negative Influence
The speaker further advised men to watch for warning signs, noting that women who frequently use terms such as “Dracula,” “Olodo uprising,” or “pick me” may not be suitable partners.
She also criticized women who publicly claim independence while secretly relying on other men behind the scenes.
“When you meet a lady and she begins to drop words like Dracula, Olodo uprising, or pick me, recognize that you have made a poor choice. Women may proclaim independence, yet often depend on another man behind that façade,” she added.
She concluded by warning men not to let bitter opinions on social media shape their relationships, explaining that some individuals merely seek to draw others into their own frustrations.
