A touching scene emerged following the release of the abducted Oyo school headmistress, Mrs. Alamu, who was freed together with other hostages.
Earlier reports indicated that the seized educators and pupils had regained liberty after nearly two months in captivity.
In the circulating footage, Mrs. Alamu is heard inquiring about her spouse and vehicle shortly after her rescue, highlighting her mixed feelings of relief and worry.
Troopers attempted to soothe her, confirming that all was well and under control.
Mrs. Alamu was part of the group taken during the May 15 assault on the Ahoro-Esiele community in Oriire LGA, Oyo State; the captives were liberated after several weeks of detention.
The clip has stirred strong emotions across Nigeria, with many thanking the safe return of the victims and offering prayers and assistance as they heal.
