Nollywood Actress Temitope Osoba Dies After Cancer Battle
Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has passed away following a prolonged battle with cancer. The news was shared on Wednesday by fellow actor Alesh Ola Sanni, who revealed that she died on Tuesday evening.
In an emotional Instagram post, Alesh Ola Sanni wrote, “Couldn’t sleep since last night. Rest in peace, my dearest sister Temitope Osoba. We shared amazing times and good memories together; we will meet again. I really don’t know what to say, man, gosh.”
Before her death, Temitope had opened up about how the cancer diagnosis affected her hopes of motherhood. In an interview on Oyinmomo TV, she explained that doctors warned her the medication could prevent conception for the next five years, as it might harm a baby.
Despite the grim prognosis, Temitope rejected the doctors’ warning, choosing instead to rely on her faith. She said she began praying and fasting, holding onto hope that she would overcome the obstacle.
