Farmer Details How the Gateman Earns His Income
According to the farmer, the gateman washes about 15 to 16 cars each month, charging ₦1,000 per wash. Additionally, he provides laundry services for five residents every weekend at ₦1,500 per person, amounting to roughly ₦30,000 monthly.
He also does laundry for five people every weekend at ₦1,500 each, which adds another ₦30,000 per month. After summing all sources, the farmer exclaimed that the gateman’s total income nears ₦550,000 each month.
Surprising Income Breakdown Revealed by the Farmer
The tweet, which has garnered nearly a million views, highlighted that the gateman’s earnings approach half a million naira monthly. Besides his services, he runs a small farm cultivating yam and pepper, selling the produce to estate residents.
Furthermore, the farmer noted that the gateman employs two motorbike riders to deliver cash daily.
In a humorous remark, the farmer joked, “I just realized this guy is richer than all of us in the compound. If he doesn’t buy me pepper soup this weekend, I’ll bend.”
