MC Fish Responds to Cheating Claims Amid Split from Anita Joseph
MC Fish, the estranged husband of Nollywood star Anita Joseph, has broken his silence on the infidelity rumors that led to the end of their marriage.
Speaking on the Echo Room podcast, he acknowledged the allegations but insisted he is not the first man to stray in a relationship.
He revealed that he was married to Joseph for about five years and had been with her for roughly two years prior to tying the knot.
“There is no enmity between us. I am not the first man to cheat. I was married for five years and have been with that woman for two years.”
Anita Joseph confirmed the separation in December of the previous year, following weeks of public speculation. In her social‑media statement, she described experiencing emotional pain, reflection, and healing, and said she was choosing growth, faith, and acceptance as she moves forward.
She also made it clear that the marriage had officially ended.
The couple exchanged vows on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2020, in a ceremony that drew considerable public attention at the time.
