Lateef Adedimeji Shares His Experience Welcoming Triplets with Mo Bimpe
Nollywood star Lateef Adedimeji recently opened up about the surprise discovery that his wife, actress Adebimpe Oyebade — popularly known as Mo Bimpe — was expecting triplets.
He said the unexpected news turned the waiting period into a rewarding experience, making the anticipation feel worthwhile.
Throughout the pregnancy, Adedimeji stood firmly by his wife’s side, providing the care and support she needed while admiring her resilience and strength.
The actor emphasized that he chose to be present during the delivery, wanting to share the moment with Mo Bimpe rather than stay away.
Describing childbirth as a challenging process, he praised women for their endurance and said, “It was shocking for me at the same time it was a mixed feeling. When you’ve been expecting something and then it comes beyond your expectations, the waiting is not a bad one.”
He added, “I cannot stay back; we did it together. I was right there and I saw it happen. It wasn’t an easy task — well done to women.”
The couple welcomed their triplet sons in May 2026 after deciding to keep the pregnancy private. Following the birth, Lateef announced the arrival of their children on social media, expressing gratitude for this new chapter in their family.
Lateef Adedimeji and Mo Bimpe married in December 2021 after years of friendship and collaboration in the Nigerian film industry.
