Kenneth Okonkwo Accuses Peter Obi of Being Classless and a Compulsive Liar
African Democratic Congress chieftain Kenneth Okonkwo has labelled former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi a classless, non‑charismatic politician with little legal knowledge and zero depth.
Speaking about Obi’s defamation suit against him, Okonkwo argued that the suit is misplaced because defamation concerns statements already made, not future intentions.
He said Obi initiated legal action before any statement was made and urged the former governor’s lawyers to better educate him on defamation law.
Okonkwo insisted his remarks are publicly verifiable and that he never defamed Obi.
“Peter Obi is a classless, non‑charismatic politician with little knowledge and zero depth. Defamation suit is for what you have already said and not what you intend to say; that is why it’s a lie. I have said it before that Obi wants to destroy any rising star from the Southeast.”

He accused Obi of being a compulsive liar who seeks to undermine emerging leaders from the Southeast, echoing Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo’s comment that Obi lies “like a fish that drinks water.”
Okonkwo pointed out that he warned on social media that suing a spokesperson could reveal confidential information, and noted that Obi has not sued other critics such as Omoyele Sowore or Arabambi despite similar accusations.
He concluded that Obi’s legal team should correct his misunderstanding of the law and reiterated his belief that Obi aims to destroy any rising star from the Southeast.
