Financial analyst and social commentator GehGeh has weighed in on the ongoing marital crisis between Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo and her estranged husband, Bobby Maris.
GehGeh’s View on BBL Motivations
In a widely shared video, GehGeh explained that many females choose buttock enhancement not to satisfy their spouses but to draw attention from other men, urging husbands not to assume such procedures are performed for marital pleasure.

He further noted that affection from women can be conditional, advising men to avoid remaining in relationships where they feel undervalued or unsupported.
He remarked, “I have said it before. Whenever a woman undergoes BBL, it is not for her husband; it is to gain attention from other men.”
The commentator added that numerous men still believe financial provision guarantees lifelong loyalty, a belief he says no longer fits modern relationships.
He advised that a man should be prepared to walk away upon noticing signs of disrespect and should never become completely dependent on a woman.
Regarding the Ogbodo‑Maris dispute, GehGeh asserted that true love would prompt a partner to use her wealth, status or connections to support the other’s growth during challenging times.
He added, “If you are with a woman who cannot use her money, influence or connections to elevate you, then leave her, because such a woman does not truly love you.”
His comments follow Uche Ogbodo’s public announcement that she is ending her marriage to Bobby Maris, describing herself as ‘exhausted of being married to a princess’ after more than eight years together.
