Former Minister Uche Nnaji Detained at Abuja Airport
Former Minister of Science and Technology Uche Nnaji was reportedly taken into custody on Wednesday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. He had just arrived on a chartered flight from Enugu.
According to sources cited by Premium Times, Nnaji is slated to be handed over to the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) for further questioning.
The ICPC has been investigating Nnaji since his resignation last year, following allegations that he forged his academic certificates. The recent arrest stems from an ongoing probe into those claims.
Nnaji had previously denied the allegations after a Premium Times report highlighted a purported court order connected to the ICPC investigation.
