First Lady Remi Tinubu Urges Nigerian Youths to Embrace Contentment and Hard Work
Speaking at the State House in Abuja while receiving the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Wing, First Lady Remi Tinubu called on young Nigerians to work hard, practice patience, uphold integrity and learn contentment rather than a beggarly attitude.
She noted that God always knows our needs, but many youths rush through life without understanding this truth. “I am teaching you how to learn contentment and not be beggarly,” she said.
Using the eagle as an example, Mrs. Tinubu urged the youths to develop resilience and chart their own paths. “When the Eagle sees the storm, he laughs at it and flies above it. You should do the same — look for your own way, not simply copy what others have,” she added.
The First Lady also praised the APC youth leadership for their unity and grassroots efforts, encouraging them to continue promoting the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
To support the youth wing’s operations, she presented nine buses to the APC National Youth Leader, Deputy National Youth Leader, zonal leaders and the Federal Capital Territory leadership. The vehicles are intended for party activities and community service.
