A woman recounted how a father decided to return his adolescent son to Nigeria after the youth continually showed disrespect toward his mother during their stay in the United Kingdom.
The source explained that the father moved his spouse and their 14‑year‑old boy to Britain, but roughly half a decade later the adolescent started answering back to his mother and defying her authority.
She noted that the conflict intensified when the youngster supposedly yelled at his mother during a correction attempt and called her by her full name rather than using a respectful term.
Father’s decisive measures
The narrator quoted the mother hearing the father say, “Rita Okoji you’re a bad mom.”
She added that the dad first asked his wife to cease the dispute with the teen, showing no sign that he would step in right away.
Approximately three weeks afterward, the father invited the boy to go with him to the airport, where his sibling awaited to take the teenager back to Nigeria.
Later she related the father’s firm statement: “You can’t disrespect my wife and get away with it.”
Online reaction to the story
The informant said the father resolved that the young man would finish his university studies in Nigeria prior to any move back to Britain.
She also mentioned that the youth is presently a 300‑level undergraduate at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
The tale has sparked varied opinions online; some commentators lauded the father’s action as a strong lesson in respect and discipline, whereas others doubted whether exile was the best approach.
The narrative keeps prompting conversations about parenting strategies, disciplinary methods, and raising children after moving overseas.
