Dollar to Naira Exchange Rate on the Black Market – July 6, 2026

The parallel market, often referred to as the black market or Aboki fx, continues to be a key venue for individuals looking to exchange foreign currency in Nigeria. On Sunday, July 5, 2026, traders in Lagos quoted a buying price of ₦1,395 and a selling price of ₦1,410 for one United States dollar.

These figures indicate that buyers could acquire a dollar for ₦1,395, while sellers received ₦1,410 per dollar. The rates reflect the prevailing demand and supply dynamics in the informal foreign exchange segment.

It is important to note that the Central Bank of Nigeria does not sanction the parallel market. The CBN advises anyone needing foreign exchange to conduct transactions through authorized banks or licensed Bureau De Change outlets.
