She emphasised that the proposals are not limited to fans; people she has never asked for assistance are constantly trying to “help” her by suggesting marriage.
Using Education to Sidestep Marriage Questions
To deflect her grandmother’s frequent inquiries about a husband, Cuppy has adopted what she calls “avoidance of marriage.” Each time her grandma asks, “Where’s your husband?” she proudly presents a new academic certificate.
Academic Pursuits and Industry Understanding
Beyond her music career, Cuppy has built an impressive academic profile. She wants to understand the entertainment industry’s inner workings, not just participate in it. Her studies have taken her to New York University, the University of Oxford, and King’s College London, where she earned a degree. She is currently considering another qualification.

Cuppy also spoke about her relationship with her father, billionaire businessman Femi Otedola. She recalled an incident where a stranger stopped him at an airport to take a photo after recognising him as “Cuppy’s dad.” The moment made her feel proud, noting that for that person, her father was identified through her own success.
