A lady named Chisom has pleaded for assistance in a trending clip, describing her painful battle with substance abuse, familial troubles, and monetary difficulties.
Dressed in a traditional wrapper and looking upset, she identified herself as Chisom.
She explained that her mother passed away in 2013 and that she was the sole offspring of her mother. She added that her father subsequently remarried and fathered additional children.
Chisom Discusses Her Struggle with Substance Use
In the footage, Chisom confessed to using “mkpurumiri,” the local term for crystal methamphetamine in Nigeria, while maintaining that she is not suffering from a mental disorder despite her dependency.
She claimed that her maternal uncle was the one who first gave her the substance, noting that she has found it difficult to quit.
“To be frank, I do consume drugs, known locally as mkpurumiri, but I am not insane,” she stated.
She further asserted that she had visited nations such as Senegal and Mali while employed by a woman she described as her madam.
Allegations of a Stolen ATM Card and an Unsatisfactory Police Response
Chisom also said that while vending sachet water in Owerri, her ATM card was taken. She reported the theft to law enforcement, who told her to simply block the card.
She noted that a motorcycle taxi driver transported her to a UBA branch, where she managed to block the card, and that her account had been opened originally in Orlu.
The woman also referenced a man known only as “Alampa” during her narration, though the precise role he played remains uncertain.
Plea to Find Her Father
Near the video’s conclusion, Chisom made an heartfelt request, urging anyone who knows her father’s location to come forward and help reunite them.
She also revealed that she has a daughter residing in Enugu, born in 2015, and mentioned that she underwent a surgical procedure during delivery.
Overcome by her circumstances, she closed the video with a desperate appeal for help.
“Please, I need to find out where my father is… Please, I’m exhausted by this,” she said.
