2Face Addresses Viral Romantic Video with Annie Idibia
Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Face or 2Baba, has spoken out after a romantic video showing him with his former wife Annie Idibia began circulating online.
The footage sparked widespread speculation that the couple had reconciled and were possibly expecting a third child. In response, Annie took to her Instagram story to dismiss the rumours, describing the videos as old and labelling the accompanying stories as false.
She wrote, “Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere. Believe everything u see on social media at ur expense.”
2Face echoed her statement in his own Instagram story, simply commenting, “Abeg nah old video o.”
Brymo’s Comments on Past Relationships and the Alleged 2019 Incident
In a separate development, singer Brymo discussed his past experiences with women during an episode of the NotJustOk podcast on YouTube. He revealed that, early in his career, he had relationships with several married women.
Brymo explained that some of these women told him they were no longer with their husbands before becoming involved with him. He used the opportunity to advise upcoming musicians to exercise caution when dealing with married partners, warning that such situations could lead to serious complications.
He recounted an incident where a married woman invited him to perform at her sister’s wedding and later asked him to visit her family home. After learning that her husband would also be present, Brymo decided against the visit, saying the scenario made him uncomfortable and could have provoked trouble.
During the same interview, Brymo mentioned an alleged encounter involving 2Face and Annie Idibia that supposedly took place in 2019 at an office in Lekki, Lagos. According to Brymo, 2Face confronted Annie about whether she had ever been intimate with him.
Neither 2Face nor Annie has publicly confirmed Brymo’s account, and the video in question remains widely regarded by both parties to be characterised as outdated material.
