Rice Price Fluctuations Across Markets
Market checks show rice currently sells between ₦55,000-₦70,000 depending on brand and location. Prices at Oyingbo, Arena (Oshodi), FESTAC Town and Mile 12 markets show local rice now priced at ₦60,000-₦70,000, down from ₦85,000 in January. Foreign brands have decreased to ₦65,000-₦75,000 from ₦95,000 earlier this year.
