Introduction
Popular cleric Chukwuemeka Odumeje has stirred online discussion after openly challenging President Bola Tinubu’s administration, questioning what tangible accomplishments the government has delivered since taking office.

Cleric’s Critique of Government Performance
During a recent church sermon, Odumeje said he could not point to any significant achievement of the Tinubu‑led government, noting that only members of the ruling APC continue to praise the president.

I don’t belong to any political party. I’m talking about good governance and leaders who can develop the nation they were elected to serve,” he added.
Public Reaction
The cleric’s comments have provoked mixed reactions online. Some Nigerians agree with his criticism of the administration, while others defend the president, arguing that meaningful reforms need time to produce results.
The remarks have contributed to the ongoing debate about the Tinubu government’s performance as citizens continue to voice differing opinions on the country’s direction.
“I don’t understand why people are celebrating President Tinubu. Tell me one thing he has done for the average Nigerian since becoming president. The only people praising Tinubu are those benefiting from his government. Can anyone point to what he has done for ordinary… https://t.co/9nJwIgpso8 pic.twitter.com/2ysiklN0tU
