CAF Announces Africa’s 10 Teams for 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the ten nations that will represent Africa at the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Uganda after Uganda claimed the final qualification spot.
Uganda sealed their place on Saturday with an 8‑7 penalty shoot‑out win over Ghana in the CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2026 play‑off. The match finished 2‑2 after regular time, and the East Africans held their nerve from the spot.
