A Nigerian woman expressed feeling betrayed after showing kindness to her husband.

Woman Speaks Out
She explained that her husband enjoys okra soup, but she avoids preparing it due to personal dislike. When her friend stayed overnight, she requested the friend to make the soup for her husband. After he ate, he thanked the friend warmly but overlooked her efforts, prompting her to seek an explanation. He responded that she owed him no thanks, which irritated her, leading her to discard the leftover soup. Her friend, upset by this reaction, departed the next day.
Shocking Find After Several Months
Months later, she noticed an okra soup stain on her husband’s singlet, initially thinking he had gotten it from a restaurant. Upon inspecting his phone, she uncovered that he regularly sends money to her friend to prepare the soup for him and visits her home to eat it.
The woman said her husband’s behavior left her feeling betrayed and disrespected.
“Every week he goes to her house to eat. I feel betrayed and disrespected,” she remarked.
