Turaki-Led PDP Faction Meets Jonathan Ahead of 2027 Elections
The faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by Taminu Turaki met with former President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday as part of preparations for the 2027 general elections.
During the gathering, Jonathan was announced as the faction’s presidential candidate in absentia, since he was not present when his nomination was formally ratified.
