Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has spoken candidly about her marriage, emphasizing the deep trust she shares with her husband and his lack of concern over her romantic roles in films.
Trust Forms the Foundation of Their Marriage
Abraham stated that jealousy has never been an issue between them. She recalled a moment when a social‑media post gave her pause, but it did not lead to any lasting conflict.
On‑Screen Kisses Are Part of the Job
The actress clarified that she is comfortable performing kissing scenes with any co‑actor when the script calls for it. She mentioned colleague Gabriel Afolayan as an example, stressing that acting is a professional duty, not a personal affair.
Clear Personal Boundaries Prevent Infidelity
Abraham added that the partners of her fellow actors are at ease with her presence. She maintains strict limits in her private life and firmly denies engaging in any form of cheating, declaring, “God forbid it, I don’t do it.”
In her own words: “My husband doesn’t have a problem with me kissing other actors. I don’t have a problem with him either. There was a day I saw a post on his page and thought, ‘hmm, nonsense,’ but it passed. I can kiss anybody; Gabriel is my guy. Most of my colleagues’ wives are comfortable with me. I can do every other thing, but adultery is not even one of it.”
