Stan Nze Advocates for Competent Leadership Over Tribal Allegiance
Nollywood actor Stan Nze has shared his views on the qualities he desires in Nigeria’s next leader, emphasizing that his main goal is to see a candidate who can improve the nation and place citizens at the forefront.
He clarified that he is not advocating for any specific individual to become president; rather, he wants someone who genuinely cares about the country and can steer Nigeria forward through effective governance.
Nze pointed out that leadership decisions impact every Nigerian, irrespective of ethnicity or region, because the nation’s challenges and achievements are shared by all.
The actor added that, based on what he has observed in the current political race, he believes Peter Obi remains the candidate who best matches his expectations for strong leadership.
“I only want to see a better Nigeria. It doesn’t have to be Peter Obi. I’m not looking for someone from my tribe, but for a candidate who has Nigerians at heart and can move the country forward, not one step forward and ten steps backward. So far, I haven’t seen any better candidate than Peter Obi in this election. The truth is that governance doesn’t affect only one tribe or region, it affects everyone.”
His remarks underline a broader call for leadership that prioritizes national progress over sectional interests.
