Minister of Works David Umahi Praises APC Dominance
Minister of Works David Umahi addressed party members at his Umunaga Ward in Uburu, Ohaozara Local Government Area, describing Ebonyi as a stronghold of the APC.
He declared, “Ebonyi State is totally APC. We are only APC,” and noted that there was practically no opposition presence in Ohaozara LGA.
Umahi Expresses Confidence in Tinubu’s Reform Agenda
Umahi said the strong turnout reflected party members’ confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership and reform agenda, adding that he believes Tinubu will address Nigeria’s insecurity challenges within the next five years if re‑elected in 2027.
He highlighted that the Tinubu administration has integrated the South‑East into mainstream national politics through key appointments and infrastructure projects, stating, “Bola Tinubu is the Biafra we have been looking for; a man who has integrated the South‑East, given us juicy appointments and very important infrastructure.”
Umahi added that he laughs when critics claim the reforms have caused hardship, arguing that no one can say where Nigeria would be without them.
