Lagos is set to host the highly anticipated Chaos In The Ring 2026 event on Friday, July 31, starting at 6 p.m. The headline bout will see celebrity boxer and singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, renew his rivalry with Nollywood star Charles Okocha.
Portable vs Charles Okocha: A Renewed Rivalry
Portable enters the ring confident after training under coach Taiwo Esepo Agbaje. Okocha, who prepared in the United Kingdom, insists the outcome will be decided inside the ring, not through pre‑fight trash talk.
When asked about an early finish, Okocha said, “If the chance comes in the first round, I’ll take it. If not, then the second round. As I’ve always said, Portable is removable.” He added that his UK camp was aimed at sharpening his skills for future challenges, noting that he does not need specific training just to beat Portable.
Idowest vs Mr Real: Musical Rivals Settle Their Score
The undercard also features a celebrity contest between musicians Idowest and Mr Real, who have exchanged barbs publicly for months. Both artists will step into the ring to settle their differences, with the winners of each celebrity bout receiving an electric vehicle.
Professional Undercard Highlights
Away from the celebrity fights, British‑based Nigerian boxer Samuel Antwi returns home to face Tanzania’s Suleiman Jafaru. Antwi says his sole focus is securing victory, while Jafaru remains measured, stating he respects every opponent and is simply “here to win.”
The professional card also includes:
- WBO Africa champion Basit Adebayo versus Tanzania’s Said “Bulldog” Chino.
- Coach Taiwo Esepo Agbaje taking on South Africa’s Ayabonga Sonjika.
- Additional bouts featuring fighters from across the African continent.
