Phyna Files ₦500 Million Lawsuit Against Carter Efe Over Sex Allegation
BBNaija Level Up winner Phyna has instituted a ₦500 million lawsuit against Nigerian streamer Carter Efe over allegations of a sexual relationship.
The dispute began when another individual, Davrel, accused Phyna of making sexual advances and requesting an introduction to his father.
In a social media video, Carter Efe confronted Phyna and admitted to having sex with her, responding affirmatively when she asked, “Me and you f*ck?” and promising to provide evidence.
Phyna replied that she would involve her lawyer, and later, during an Instagram Live session, she apologized to her fans and announced that legal steps had been taken against both Davrel and Carter Efe.
She explained that the recent events forced her to reconsider her approach to public attacks, stating that while she tolerates criticism, allegations about her personal and sexual life cross a line, and she will no longer respond with emotional outbursts but rely on legal channels.
Quoting her live address, she said she had realized the need to use legal means to protect her reputation, noting that her own reactions often overshadow the actual wrongdoing, and urged Carter Efe and Davrel to check their messages as they have been served.
Shortly after the live, Carter Efe shared a video confirming that he had indeed been sued for ₦500 million.
