Phyna Files ₦500 Million Lawsuit Against Carter Efe Over Sex Allegation
Big Brother Naija Level‑Up winner Phyna has instituted a ₦500 million legal suit against Nigerian streamer Carter Efe following allegations of a sexual relationship between the two.
The dispute escalated after Carter Efe claimed in a viral video that he had been intimate with Phyna, a claim she denied during a heated exchange captured on social media.
In the video, Phyna asked, “Me and you f*ck?” to which Carter Efe replied, “Yes. I will bring the whole evidence come outside.” Phyna responded, “Thank you very much. You and Davrel will hear from my lawyer.”
Later, during an Instagram Live session, Phyna apologised to her fans and announced that legal action had been taken against both Carter Efe and another individual named Davrel.
She explained that the recent attacks on her personal and sexual life had crossed a line, stating she would no longer respond with emotional outbursts but would rely on the courts to defend her reputation.
Phyna said, “Hi people, I’m making this live to address something very important… I have realised that I cannot tolerate sexual and personal attacks. This is the end of the old Phyna; I will now use legal means.” She added that Carter Efe and Davrel should check their emails and WhatsApp for the suit.
Shortly after the live, Carter Efe confirmed online that he had indeed been served with the ₦500 million lawsuit.
