Pastor Clarifies Why Peter Obi Gives Seemingly Nonsensical Answers in Interviews

A clergy member has ignited online conversation after offering his perspective on how former Anambra State governor Peter Obi handles interview questions.
During a sermon, he explained that many people misinterpret Obi’s replies to certain political inquiries.
He noted that critics often cite those interview moments as proof that Obi lacks the capability to govern the nation.
Nevertheless, the pastor maintained that Obi is purposeful in his communication style.
Pastor’s Interpretation of Obi’s Approach
While speaking to his congregation, the cleric said he reached this view after contemplating Obi’s public appearances and political messaging.
He elaborated:
“If you observe his interviews, you’ll notice that Peter Obi tends to give responses that appear nonsensical. He delivers such answers to the extent that observers conclude he is unfit for the presidency. I realized, while meditating, that the Holy Spirit revealed to me that he knows exactly what he is doing; Obi is intentional about his campaign.”
Pastor’s Remarks on Policy Stance
The pastor further argued that Obi’s positions on key national issues are not markedly different from those of the current administration.
“Can I be honest? He does not possess a distinct manifesto from the sitting president. This explains why, whenever he is questioned repeatedly about fuel subsidies, his answers seem nonsensical.”
These comments have sparked reactions on social media, with Obi’s supporters and detractors offering varied interpretations of the pastor’s remarks.
The discourse has also revived discussions about political communication, how the public perceives leaders, and the influence of interviews on shaping opinions about political figures.
