Ned Nwoko Denies Alleged APC Betrayal Claims
The lawmaker representing the Delta North senatorial district, Senator Ned Nwoko, has dismissed allegations that he accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of betrayal.
According to Ned Nwoko’s media team, the senator never granted an interview, issued a statement, or authorised any release making such claims.
The team attributed the false report to the Okowa media outfit, describing it as misleading and malicious.
They stated that the publication did not originate from Senator Nwoko or his media representatives and that he remains a loyal APC member.
Since joining the party, Nwoko has collaborated with state and national leadership to strengthen APC in Delta North and across the state.
He continues to support party processes and structures, and the narrative of betrayal and power‑sharing agreements is false and intended to sow division.
Senator Nwoko believes in due process, party supremacy, and internal democracy, handling any grievances through proper party channels rather than public outbursts.
The media team urged the public to disregard the fabricated article, labeling it political mischief by the Okowa team aimed at creating discord ahead of the 2027 elections.
Senator Nwoko said he will not be distracted by propaganda and remains focused on delivering results for Delta North constituents while supporting President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda nationally.
He remains open to working with all party members, old and new, to build a stronger APC in Delta.
The team advised media outlets and the public to verify information through Senator Nwoko’s official channels before publishing.
Legal action is being considered against those responsible for the defamatory publication.
