Nigerian vocalist Mr Real has voiced alarm about escalating insecurity nationwide and the surge of residents migrating to Lagos State.
He noted that many citizens now regard Lagos as the safest haven, prompting them to flee their home states fearing attacks and instability.

He remarked, “Lagos is getting overcrowded. Everyone is abandoning their hometowns for Lagos State, convinced it offers the greatest safety.”
Mr Real added that ongoing criminal acts and violent assaults in various localities continue to drive people from their residences and enterprises.
The artist urged President Bola Tinubu and other governmental leaders to take immediate action to curb the nation’s security crisis before it deteriorates further.
He warned, “Bandits and terrorists are presently pursuing citizens, and they may soon trail them to Lagos as well. Let our President and other officials address this insecurity,” he emphasized.
His comments have fueled ongoing online dialogues concerning insecurity, internal relocation, and safety issues throughout Nigeria.
Recall that last year the performer, famed for his track Legbegbe, also shared on social media his apprehension after experiencing a disturbing dream hinting at possible assaults.
This anxiety surfaces amid frequent accounts of violent episodes across several regions, where banditry and abductions have resulted in fatalities and displacement.
