“Nigerians please help me beg stella to allow our husband rest in peace” – Late Mr Ibu's first wife responds to Stella Okafor's claims

The first spouse of the deceased Nollywood star Mr Ibu has issued a public rebuttal to statements made by Stella Okafor in her interview with King Mitchy, raising new accusations concerning the actor’s assets and the charitable contributions received during his sickness.

She asserted that Stella Okafor, whom she identified as the actor’s fifth spouse, was instrumental in the detention of her eldest son and their adopted daughter while Mr Ibu was undergoing medical care.

According to her, the pair were managing the donations contributed by Nigerians at that time.

She further claimed that Stella Okafor sold one of the late actor’s properties located in Enugu and subsequently tried to offload another residence in Lagos after the family had arranged a rental unit for her, following reports that the dwelling was no longer fit for use.

New Allegations Surface After Interview

During her remarks on the matter, the late actor’s first wife declared, “Stella Okafor, the woman interviewed by King Mitchy, is my husband’s fifth wife; I am his first wife. While he was bedridden, Stella arranged for the arrest of my first son and our adopted daughter because they were overseeing the funds donated by Nigerians.”

She added, “Nigerians, please assist me in urging Stella to let our husband rest in peace. As his fifth wife, why do you continue to present your children as his sole heirs? What about Amara, Onyebuchi, Valentine, the twins in Port Harcourt, and the other children residing in Ghana?”

Family Conflict Triggers Online Reaction

The statement has ignited extensive discussion across social platforms, with numerous users demanding transparency regarding the allegations surrounding the late entertainer’s estate.

As of the time of this report, the assertions remain unverified claims from one side of the continuing family disagreement and have not been corroborated by independent sources.
