Kehinde Adegbodu Speaks on Health Condition After Home Fire
Gospel singer Kehinde Adegbodu has responded to growing concerns about his health after fans noticed a noticeable change in his appearance and speculated about a serious illness.
In an Instagram video, Adegbodu explained that he suffered a minor fire accident at his residence, which caused injuries to his left hand and parts of his face, including his lips.
He assured supporters that he is medically fit and urged them to keep him in their prayers.
The artiste clarified that the incident was not a spiritual attack and emphasized that everyone faces physical or spiritual challenges.
Adegbodu also reacted to allegations linking the fire to alcohol consumption, stating that alcohol played no role in the outbreak.
Regarding his slimmer look, he said the weight loss is health‑related and recalled that some people had previously advised him to reduce his size.
He concluded, “To everyone that is worried about me, I am very okay and medically fit. I had a minor fire accident in the house but I decided not to post it on the social media. It affected my left hand and some parts of my face including my lips. It was not a spiritual attack. Everyone has one or two things they are battling with medically and spiritually. Just remember me in your prayers.”
“To those saying my alcohol consumption is too much, alcohol didn’t cause the fire. I lost some weight because of my health. When Taiwo passed away, people called me that my stomach was too big and I should work on it. I am not sick.”
