Kaduna Governor Uba Sani Challenges Opposition to Prove APC Targeting
Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has thrown down the gauntlet to Nigeria’s opposition parties, demanding they show proof that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is actively fighting them.
Speaking at a press briefing, the governor said the opposition’s recent party‑hopping behaviour reveals that their motives are rooted in personal gain rather than national interest.
“It’s all about their personal interests. These guys are not serious. They are not political parties based on what they believe in or what they can do,” Sani stated.
He added that over the past three months opposition politicians have been jumping from one party to another, searching for a platform, and urged them to organise, build ideology and present clear evidence of any alleged APC persecution.
“If you are in a political party, you have to sit down, build, organise, and do whatever is necessary to protect the party. You can’t be jumping from one party to another,” he concluded.
