Hervé Renard Urges Tunisia to End 2026 World Cup with Pride Against Netherlands

Tunisia head coach Hervé Renard has challenged his players to show pride and character when they face the Netherlands in their final group game at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Carthage Eagles were eliminated after a crushing 4‑0 defeat to Japan, a result that confirmed their exit following a difficult campaign.

Despite the disappointment, Renard insisted his team must finish the tournament on a positive note, urging them to keep fighting in difficult moments and approach the third match with the best possible attitude.

He added that Japan’s victory was no surprise, praising their movement, discipline and finishing, and described them as one of the top three favourites to win the World Cup.

Renard concluded that Tunisia will take on the Dutch with determination to restore dignity and end the competition with pride.
