2026 BET Awards: Complete Winners List
The 2026 BET Awards, broadcast live on BET, celebrated outstanding achievements in music, film and entertainment. Actress and singer Teyana Taylor and hip‑hop duo Clipse emerged as the night’s biggest winners, each claiming three awards.
Top Music Winners
Teyana Taylor won Best Actress, Video Director of the Year, the newly introduced Fashion Vanguard Award and the honorary Icon of the Year accolade.
Clipse took home Album of the Year for Let God Sort ‘Em Out, Best Group and Best Collaboration for “Chains & Whips” featuring Kendrick Lamar.
Kendrick Lamar added to his record with a ninth Best Male Hip Hop Artist win, while Kehlani claimed her first Best Female R&B/Pop Artist award and Video of the Year for “Folded.”
Other Notable Music Honors
Olivia Dean repeated her Grammy Best New Artist success at the BET Awards, becoming only the fifth act to win the category at both shows.
Cardi B secured her third Best Female Hip Hop Artist trophy, Leon Thomas was named Best Male R&B/Pop Artist for the first time, and Dr. Bobby Jones’ Gospel/Inspirational award went to “Headphones” by Lecrae, Killer Mike and T.I.
Film and Special Categories
In film, Ryan Coogler’s Sinners won Best Movie, and Michael B. Jordan earned Best Actor for his performance, marking his fourth win in the category.
Music legend Ms. Lauryn Hill received the inaugural Living Legend Icon Award, while veteran executive Sylvia Rhone was honored with the Ultimate Icon Award.
The YoungStars Award went to sixteen‑year‑old journalist Jazlyn Guerra (Jazzy’s World TV) for her celebrity interviews and growing influence in entertainment journalism.
