First Lady Remi Tinubu Advises Nigerian Youths on Contentment and Diligence
Speaking at the State House in Abuja on Friday, First Lady Remi Tinubu addressed the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Wing. She urged young Nigerians to cultivate patience, integrity, and hard work as the foundation for lasting success.
“God always knows our needs, but many youths are always in a hurry,” she said. “I am teaching you how to learn contentment and not be beggarly.”
Drawing inspiration from the eagle, Mrs. Tinubu encouraged the youths to adopt an “eagle mentality” — remaining calm amid challenges and seeking their own paths rather than copying others.
Support for APC Youth Activities
She commended the APC youth wing for its unity and grassroots efforts, urging members to continue promoting the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
To bolster their operations, the First Lady presented nine buses to the APC National Youth Leader, Deputy National Youth Leader, zonal leaders, and the Federal Capital Territory leadership. The vehicles will be used for party activities and community service.
Her message was clear: success comes not from envy or haste, but from steadfast dedication, resilience, and a contented heart.
