First Lady Remi Tinubu Advises Nigerian Youths on Contentment and Hard Work
First Lady Remi Tinubu, speaking at the State House in Abuja during a meeting with the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Wing, encouraged young Nigerians to cultivate contentment, diligence, patience, integrity and hard work. She noted that many youths rush for success without understanding that God already knows their needs, and warned against a beggarly attitude.
Using the eagle as a metaphor, she urged youths to adopt an “eagle mentality”: when storms arise, the eagle laughs and flies above them, symbolizing resilience and the courage to forge one’s own path rather than copying others.
She also praised the APC youth leadership for their unity and grassroots efforts, calling on them to continue promoting the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration and to uphold the Renewed Hope Agenda.
To support their activities, the First Lady donated nine buses to the APC National Youth Leader, Deputy National Youth Leader, zonal leaders and the Federal Capital Territory leadership, to be used for party programmes and community service.
