Dayo Amusa Advises Couples to Check Sexual Compatibility Before Marriage
Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has shared her views on sex and marriage, stressing that sexual compatibility should be evaluated before couples decide to spend their lives together.
In a post on her X (formerly Twitter) handle, she said people who are not interested in sex may not be suited for marriage.
Amusa also noted that living together before marriage involves more than just sharing household responsibilities; it is an opportunity to gauge intimate chemistry.
According to her, sex ranks among the top priorities of cohabitation and should not be overlooked.
She wrote: “If sex is not your thing, you shouldn’t be married and that is why I do not believe people aren’t meant to co‑habit before marriage. Two virgins getting married without any wild desires may cope, but for the tested ones, we all have our sexual desires, demands and preferences.”
She continued: “The essence of co‑habitation is beyond cooking and laying of bedsheets; sex is top 3 and it’s not even number two or three. Get down with your partners well so you’ll know what you’re planning to live with for life! Know if you’re compatible – I recommend sexual compatibility before a decision is reached.”
