Charles Okocha Denies Biting Portable During Celebrity Boxing Rematch
Nollywood actor Charles Okocha has refuted claims made by singer Portable that he bit him during their recent celebrity boxing rematch in Lagos.
Portable had deviated from boxing rules, employing wrestling tactics before exiting the ring, and later alleged that Okocha bit him on the back and gripped his neck during the bout.
Speaking to TVC Entertainment, Okocha rejected the accusation, noting that he wore a mouth guard throughout the fight, making such an action impossible.
He insisted there was no moment when he attempted to bite his opponent and said he had no motive to do so, urging Portable to accept the result of the match.
“Portable has been going around telling people I bit him on the back. I was wearing a mouth guard; how is that even possible? He was just lying.
I would rather chew grass than bite him. I don’t want to catch rabies. Have you seen how Portable’s skin looks? Hell no, I wouldn’t do that. He should just accept defeat.”
