A Canadian-based Nigerian woman, Ezinne Nwanorue, has ignited online discussion after publicly celebrating the passing of her mother-in-law amid an ongoing marital conflict with her husband, Franklin Nwanorue.
This development emerged shortly after the couple attracted attention by taking a public vow of faithfulness, during which Franklin pledged that he would rather die than be unfaithful after relocating to Canada.
Public Fidelity Vow Draws Notice
The duo posted videos in which they swore to remain sexually exclusive to each other.
In his recording, Franklin stated: “I confess and I promise that if I come to Canada and cheat on you, let me die in the name of Jesus.”
Soon after, Ezinne alleged that her husband had been intimate with one of his purported side partners, despite having made the public pledge.
Woman Marks Mother-in-Law’s Demise
In a recent social media update, Ezinne responded to the death of her mother-in-law, Comfort Chika Nwanorue, labeling her a “wicked witch.”
“One wicked witch is down: my late mother-in-law, Comfort Chika Nwanorue, rest in pieces in hell alongside other deceased witches; your kin will soon follow you,” she wrote.
She further claimed that her deceased mother-in-law and other relatives had conspired to obstruct her destiny.
“These individuals have opposed me in this life; they uncovered my purpose and did everything possible to hinder me, yet I thank God for revealing my true self and supporting my path,” she declared.
Speaking From the Role of a Prophetess
Ezinne added that she was speaking from her position as a prophetess and urged those she described as witches and evildoers to seek repentance.
“I am speaking from the office of a prophetess of the Almighty God,” she noted.
