UK Deportation Drama: Husband’s Secret Leads to Family’s Removal After Wife Reports Him to Home Office
A Nigerian man has ignited online discussion after sharing how a family’s aspiration to move to the United Kingdom collapsed into deportation following a heated marital conflict.
He explained that the husband, named Tobore, liquidated his assets in Nigeria and borrowed more than 20 million naira to bring his wife, Funke, and their three children to Britain.
The relationship deteriorated when Funke allegedly discovered that her spouse was still in contact with a woman thought to be his previous lover back home.
According to the narrator, Funke reported Tobore to the Home Office after their disagreement, unaware that he had already disclosed a confidential detail about one of the children they had brought to the UK.
He further claimed that, after the report, Tobore told the UK Home Office that one of the children traveling with them was not biologically related to either parent, prompting immigration officials to order a DNA test.
The narrator said the DNA results allegedly indicated the child had no biological link to Tobore or Funke, a revelation that jeopardized the family’s residency status and ultimately resulted in their removal from the country.
He lamented, “Imagine borrowing over 20 million naira, selling possessions to relocate your family overseas, and seeing it all fall apart within a year due to a marital crisis.”
The incident has sparked varied reactions on social media, with some commentators criticizing the couple’s approach to resolving their differences, while others advise reserving judgment until all sides of the story are heard.
