The Mother’s Passing
She explained that she had spent close to one million naira on her mother’s medical care before being directed to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, which left her stunned. Reflecting on the tragedy, she said, ‘My heart is completely shattered. My life will never be the same. I am now an orphan; this feels like a terrible nightmare.’
