The leader of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), Chibuzor Gift Chinenye, announced that families returning from South Africa to Nigeria will receive free lodging and welfare assistance, urging those currently sleeping at airports to take advantage of this initiative.
Speaking on social media, Chinenye explained that he learned many returnees from South Africa were staying overnight at the airport because they had nowhere else to go.

He urged them to move to OPM’s complimentary housing center, where they can reside until they become self‑sufficient.
Complimentary Assistance for Families
He clarified that the benefit is limited to returnees who are accompanied by family members.
He noted that their children could enroll at no cost in any of OPM’s 43 free schools, with complimentary daily bus service included.

Chinenye added that graduates of the secondary program would qualify for OPM university scholarships, allowing them to attend Nigerian institutions without taking the ministry’s standard scholarship test.
He also stated that parents and children alike would receive free medical care at OPM’s hospital.
Vocational Training and Entrepreneurial Support
The cleric revealed that mothers would be granted shop spaces to relaunch small enterprises, noting that many had lost their livelihoods after their businesses in South Africa were destroyed.

He also mentioned that men would be admitted to OPM’s free skills‑training centers to learn various trades without charge.
Encouraging affected families to seek assistance rather than stay at the airport, Chinenye wrote: “You do not need to sleep at the airport; free housing is available for you and your family until you get back on your feet, because the Almighty God will restore what you have lost.”
He called on Nigerians to spread the word so that stranded returnees who may not know about the help can be informed.
Chinenye concluded by emphasizing that the program is entirely financed through tithes and offerings from the OPM church.
