Mercy Eke Opens Up About Peer Pressure Behind Her BBL Decision
Nigerian reality TV star Mercy Eke has revealed that her decision to undergo a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) was largely driven by peer pressure and the trendiness of the procedure at the time.
I got a BBL because it was trending and there was a lot of peer pressure. I didn’t tell my mum because I knew she would discourage me. You can’t sleep on your bum for 14 days, and you’ll cry for the first 3 days from the pain… but look, it’s soft now.

She described the recovery as extremely painful, noting that she could not sit or lie on her back for about two weeks and cried for the first three days due to the discomfort.
Despite the challenging healing process, Eke said she is now happy with the outcome and feels comfortable in her body.
