Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has spoken out after social media users questioned the size of her neck. She emphasized that there is no medical issue behind her appearance.
The actress explained that her neck looks the way it does because of her body build and her love for food. She pointed out that the trait runs in her family and is unrelated to conditions such as thyroid disease or goiter.
Rejecting Unfounded Health Assumptions
Etinosa expressed frustration over the constant scrutiny celebrities face regarding signs of illness. She noted that some people are quick to assume or even wish poor health on public figures instead of appreciating their overall well‑being.
She insisted that she is in good health and will not tolerate negative assumptions about her body. “Don’t project your future sickness on me,” she said, urging critics to stop attributing imagined ailments to her.
A Family Trait, Not a Medical Condition
The actress clarified that her neck size is natural and hereditary. “As you can see, my neck is like this because it’s how my mother’s neck is, and it’s the same for the women in my family,” she explained. She added that even her young daughter shares the same feature and is healthy and happy.
Etinosa concluded by calling out the desire some have to hear celebrities talk about sickness, labeling it “wicked and evil.” She asked everyone to stay away from spreading false health narratives about her.
