A young Nigerian man has captured attention online after revealing his path from repeated denial at the Nigerian Defence Academy to securing a position in the United States Air Force on his very first attempt.
Years of Rejection at NDA
He explained that he submitted applications to the Nigerian Defence Academy seven times, spanning from 2017 through 2023, yet none of them were successful.
In a widely shared post, he displayed his application timeline:

Breakthrough After Seven Years of Trying
After enduring years of setbacks, he announced that his fortunes shifted in 2026 when he gained entry into the United States Air Force on his initial application.
He noted the achievement with the words: “2026 – Air Force ✅,” he wrote.
He added that reaching this milestone required roughly nine years of perseverance.
“Stay locked in. It took me nine years to achieve my dream,” he remarked.
