Hilda Baci Speaks Out Against Online Bullying of Her Teen Brother
Celebrity chef Hilda Baci has denounced internet users who mocked and bullied her 15‑year‑old brother after a casual video of them together went viral.
She said some individuals went as far as editing the boy’s photos to make him appear larger, solely to provoke laughter.
Baci expressed her disappointment that adults were targeting a minor who had done nothing wrong besides appearing in a lighthearted clip with his sister.
On her X (formerly Twitter) account she wrote:
“I never imagined that a lighthearted video with my 15‑year‑old brother would be taken from my Snapchat, reposted across different platforms, and turned into an excuse to bully a child. Some of you have left cruel comments. Others have gone as far as editing his photos to make him look bigger just to get a few laughs.”
She continued:
“Adults are editing the image of a 15‑year‑old boy and publicly mocking him. My brother did nothing except exist in a funny video with his sister. If your idea of entertainment is tearing down a child, then that’s a reflection of your character, not his. He’s a child, stop the cruelty.”
Baci added that her brother is kind, loved, and growing into the remarkable young man she knows he will become, and that no hateful comment or altered image can change that.
She urged commenters to remember there is a real teenager behind the screen and to choose kindness over cruelty.
